Company Overview
A2Z Marine Services was formed by **Austen Brunton**, with the aim of delivering unbiased, expert marine engineering services in a transparent way. The services offered have been garnered from years of varied experience in the marine industry.
At A2Z, we believe in "STEM to STERN" coverage, ensuring that every aspect of your vessel—from its mechanical heart to its structural integrity—is scrutinized with the highest level of professional expertise.
Leadership and Expertise
Austen began his involvement with ships as an apprentice at a shipyard where the initial seeds of repairing and building vessels were sowed. Today, he is an Engineering Council Registered Marine Engineer with a Class 1 Motor Unlimited Certificate of Competency and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Seagoing Experience
Experience gained from sailing on a diverse range of vessels from D.P Survey, ROPAX to some of the largest built container vessels, rising to the position of Chief Engineer.
Senior Management
Held responsibilities for building and repair of vessels for major companies such as P&O Nedlloyd, AP Møller - Mærsk, Sultanate of Oman Royal Yacht Squadron, and P&O Ferries.
Project Track Record
Managing site teams during multiple conversions with hands-on experience supervising works related to mechanical systems, piping, steel structures, and coatings.
A Unique Perspective
The senior roles Austen has held in both operational management, ship repairs, and newbuilds—representing Owners as well as shipyards—have given him a unique and comprehensive perspective on the marine industry.
